February Update

We got our monthly update about Lillian today as well as two new pictures. One of them featured something we had yet to see on her....a smile! Oh be still my heart. She is so precious!

Here are some of the highlights from our update:

• She takes 5 ounces of formula seven times per day. She eats solid foods well. She likes pasitini (baby pasta).
• She reaches out for toys, can shake and play with it.
• She creeps around the house faster than last month.
• She is becoming more active and playful.
• She likes to play with most of the toys in the transitional home.
• She smiles when her nannies play with her but she doesn’t smile much with others.
• She babbles and does reciprocal babbling with her favorite nanny.
• She sleeps on her back. 

Any little tidbit about Lillian makes me happy, so this just made my whole day! Josh had been stalking our gmail accounts all morning, and literally two seconds after I heard my gmail ding on my phone, Josh called me to tell me we got the update. Yes we are ridiculous. :)

On a side note...it is gorgeous out! Cole and I had a fun morning playing card games at Starbucks, going to a park and running on a trail for about a mile. I love today!
